Another example has to do with the items evaluating the principal. We did it in 03/04 and found the ratings were very high, above 4 on average. So after some deliberation we did not ask teachers to evaluate the principal in the next year, but do it again in the year 05/06.
In addition, all along we had teachers evaluating the middle mangers by means of a questionnaire designed by the school. Since the EMB's survey is more widely used, we decided to adopt some of its items to evaluate the subject panels. The principal will show the analysis results to all teachers at the staff meeting, so that we have an idea of the broad picture of how teachers view the middle managers.
