How to enhance learning and teaching through lesson observation

We found that although teachers were complying with the guidelines on interactive teaching provided by the school, the actual effects were not that good. Yet we noticed some teachers were able to assimilate the gist of interactivity, and made the lessons very lively and the interactions very good. So at one of our regular weekly meetings I shared my findings about the good class activities I saw with all teachers. After that some teachers went back to their own classes to try things out. In the second round of lesson observations, comparatively more teachers were already able to make their lessons more interactive, and to them and to me, the results were good, for classes could become more lively and students' participation was raised. There were tasks we thought students were unable to perform, but actually they could do them, and some could do them very well indeed.
