To me, anxiety is inevitable, and is a form of pressure. If the pressure is too much, of course it may affect work efficiency. But if the pressure can become a positive driving force, it is not a bad thing. So I would think two things are essential: let them see it as something positive, and inform them clearly of the procedures involved for teachers at different levels. As a matter of fact, worries are considerable, as a result of not knowing what it is and how to do it. Anxieties that accompany lesson observation are bound to exist, but it is a key factor whether we can turn it into a positive force.
